SPbSUT invites foreign applicants to take part in the competition to receive a quota from the Government of the Russian Federation for studying in Russia in the 2025/2026 academic year.
The University has 102 places in leading technical areas of training for students from around the world.

The Russian Government's quota for education of foreign citizens and stateless persons is an excellent opportunity to study at Russian universities for free.
How to get a quota for studying at SPbSUT?
- Fill out the form on the website and upload the documents.
- Fill out an application (choose 6 universities by priority). The first on the list should be SPbSUT, if you want to study at our university.
- If SPbSUT is first on the list, please make a screenshot and send it to dmo@sut.ru. We will contact you.
- You need to pass exams. Exams are held at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in your country.
- You need to receive an invitation to study to obtain a visa.
- You submit documents for a study visa to the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in your country.
- You will receive a visa.
- You must inform the staff of International Cooperation Department about your arrival date at SPbSUT by email at dmo@sut.ru or by phone at + 7 (812) 305-12-37.
- You arrive in St Petersburg.
